White sandy beaches and street-side cafes have turned Nha Trang
into Vietnam's premier resort town, which is 442 km northeast of
Ho Chi Minh City. With 7 km white sand beach and harmonious combination
of mountains, Nha Trang is often called Vietnam's Mediterranean
Area.
Nha Trang is sunny all year round. The rainfall
is less than anywhere else in the country and the area is not threatened
by storms since it is protected by the Truong Son Mountains and
Ca Pass.
The islands off the coast are almost transparent,
making for excellent sailing, fishing, snorkeling and diving. In
Nha Trang, visitors can find the most breath-taking scenes on the
beach. However, modern life marks its presence next to all the natural
attractions.
